AddressWith continued growth through innovation, exceptional service and ensuring they carefully select industry champions to complement their existing team, our client, based in South-West of Sydney is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse Manager within the Transport industry who will overlook and drive the operations of the distribution sector.
The role is hands-on and clerical in nature. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, be prompt, reliable, responsible and well organised.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all transport operations, including resource allocation and route planning, to meet service agreements and customer needs.
- Lead the warehouse operations team in the day-to-day operations of the facility ensuring daily runs are met.
- Mentoring and training of the team
- Engage with clients, suppliers, and customers.
- Manage the inward and outwards of Goods.
- Coordinate effective routing of trucks and staff to optimize delivery and service.
- Management and maintenance of QA and OHS
- Management of stock take, and cycle counts and booking of transport with local third parties
- Previous Warehouse Managerial experience in the Transport industry, Freight Forwarding or 3PL is essential.
- MUST have a current drivers licence and LF licence
- High level of computer literacy, good knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Attention to detail and accuracy to data analysis.
- Good English – both oral and written
