With global expansion underway, we're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our Supply Chain and wholesale function. Supported by the CFO you will oversee and manage the supply chain and logistics strategy and operations, to maximise efficiency and productivity.
About the role:
We are looking for a warehouse leader, who has a strong understanding of the retail distribution landscape. We are looking for someone who has a people first mindset, and who embodies our leadership fundamentals in everything they do.
We are looking for someone who can play a strategic role in developing the framework for delivering customer centric solutions within our growing logistics operations space - to support and drive our growth. In addition, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors, negotiating with suppliers to reduce costs and increase quality.
The primary responsibility of the Supply Manager is to successfully lead our Warehouse Operation, by providing leadership to the team and optimising our operations to ensure efficient flow of goods.
Day in the life of:
- Developing warehouse strategies and budgets
- Assist on key projects including data and system monitoring and collection
- Plan, forecast, schedule and establish timelines for new and existing product ranges
- Managing and Leading the Warehouse Operations
- Creating and Leading a High Performance Culture, focused on continual improvement
- Responsible for the Warehouse and safety processes, to ensure compliance
- Developing, implementing and managing warehouse policies, procedures and systems
- Direct development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of the groups strategic initiatives
- Goals and Objectives, & KPI’s
- Ownership over driving efficiency and improvements within operations
- Training and development of the warehouse team
- Supplier relationship management and business reviews
- Warehouse design and optimisation
- Inventory accuracy and optimisation
- Creating a sustainable warehouse operations
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent desirable - Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics subject exposure. Desirable
- Experience in Warehouse & Operations management, performance & costing desirable.
- ERP system, international freight, warehouse management systems, import processes and compliance experience.
- Strong Leadership skills, with excellent communication and relationship skills.
- Strong analytical skills including cost modelling, performance management and financial review
