Castledex is a full-service provider of FF&E (furniture, fit-out and equipment). We are a market leader and work on some of the biggest projects in Western Australia. We operate a 3,000 sqm warehouse with high truss racking and it’s the beating heart of our 75-person organisation. We take pride in our warehouse.

The key responsibilities of the role are:
Planning and processing all goods inwards to include checking on delivery versus ordered goods, safe storage and location tracking within the warehouse.Internal liaison with other departments to coordinate deliveries, dispatch, storage and other key elements of operations and inventory control.Coordinating rosters and manning to ensure adequate resources are available to complete the required tasks. Managing sub-contract and casual staff to handle surge requirements.Maintaining a good working knowledge of stock locations and storage.Maintaining an up to date understanding of the training needs of all warehouse staff.Identifying any areas for improvement and coordinating the resources required for developing any responses.Liaison with all stakeholders to ensure the warehouse stock and inventory is known for the effective management of logistics and dispatches.Managing picking of orders to ensure accuracy and low levels of returned stock or incorrect dispatch.Creation of SMWS/JSA documentation as required to meet compliance standards.Managing client issues or their logistics companies when picking up orders.Advising senior management on matters requiring attention and implementing their decisions.Coordinating an annual stock take, with ongoing minor stock takes throughout the year, and assisting in the reporting of results.Maintenance of operational incident / quality register for warehouse.Management of Training, Induction and other registers to ensure warehouse staff are trained and developed.
Qualifications & experience required:
Proven leadership in HSEStrong team development skillsKnowledge of automated inventory systemsExperienced forklift operatorMinimum 7 years warehouse management experienceKnowledge and management of policies and proceduresManagement of logistics systemsKnowledge of subcontractor management and controlExperience on control and segregation of returned inventory.Ability to manage automated control systems.ISO knowledge desirableOdoo or equivalent accounting system knowledge
