As we prepare for a busy holiday season, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Warehouse Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Reconfigure the warehouse for optimal holiday season layout.
- Manage incoming stock for Christmas, ensuring efficient storage and accessibility.
- Plan and control incoming stock with the Logistics / Inventory Controller.
- Oversee and train team on new branding machinery for a smooth integration, and organise repairs of branding machinery.
- Assist General Manager in recruiting and onboarding new staff for Christmas period.
- Lead and motivate the warehouse team for operational excellence.
- Conduct induction and training programs for new staff.
- Negotiate competitive shipping rates to optimise costs.
- Ensure timely delivery through effective freight booking.
- Assist with pick packing, unloading trucks, and hands-on tasks.
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
- Manage warehouse operations reporting.
- Utilise Cin7 inventory management software to track and manage inventory effectively.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Cin7 inventory management software or similar.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments.
- Experience with workplace health and safety.
- Experience with planning and coordinating production activities.
- Experience managing projects such as warehouse upgrades, implementation of new machinery etc.
