Salary2XM Recruit are actively seeking a Warehouse Manager in Eveleigh on a casual contract basis.

Location: Eveleigh
Job type: Casual contract until end of June (potential permanent offer after)
Rate: $57 - $62 p/h Casual
The Warehouse Manager's primary responsibility is to oversee the accurate processing and supply of materials for operating stores, ensuring they meet customer needs and work plans efficiently and cost-effectively.
Duties:
- Ensure adequate resourcing of all processes to achieve timely outputs, contributing to overall process delivery and meeting depot warehouse performance targets.
- Implement and champion Continuous Improvement methodologies, initiatives, and tools to enhance process efficiency, thereby improving cost, quality, and delivery Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Procurement, and Rotables administration teams to align efforts and achieve Supply Chain objectives.
- Partner with the Manager and collaborate with the Finance team to develop budgets encompassing manpower, overheads, and capital expenditure.
- Efficiently manage labor, financial, and capital resources for the depot Warehouse within budgetary constraints and forecast requirements.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of monthly financial reports, adjust year-end forecasts accordingly, and implement timely corrective actions to address financial and operational deficiencies.
- Demonstrated management and supervisory experience, with a solid grasp of budget management, cost control, and performance evaluation.
- Possession of relevant trade qualifications and/or tertiary level education.
- Proficient in modern warehouse operations, with expertise in MRP/ERP systems.
- Valdi RIW/RISI Card or willing to obtain
- Experience in the Rail industry or similar heavy industry
