The Role
Based in our Dubbo branch, you will play a crucial role as a Warehouse Manager within our team. Our Dubbo branch serves as a hub within our Central West network, providing essential services to both our customers and surrounding stores. We are seeking a highly organised individual with experience in managing warehouse operations. Attention to detail is paramount in this role, along with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a team.
You will have the exciting opportunity to support our existing clients and expand our client base by supplying a wide range of farm inputs, including agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, animal health products, and general merchandise. Additionally, you will promote our grain marketing services and other offerings to our customers.
To be successful in this position, you should:
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Forklift license.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a HR licence.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Dangerous Goods licence.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse, ensuring a tidy and efficient work environment.
- Have proficiency in stock control and basic computer knowledge.
- Willingness to learn relevant computer systems.
- Manage and coordinate deliveries and represent our business on farms.
- Display a willingness to support the merchandise team in the shop by providing exceptional customer service and assisting with sales when needed.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach in supporting the manager to uphold Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
- Be dedicated to making positive contributions to our team by actively listening, learning, and effectively communicating with colleagues and clients.
- Approach tasks with enthusiasm, positivity, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
