Your Role:
As our Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of our operations. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse, including inventory control, shipping and receiving. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and shipping of products.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations.
- Manage inventory levels and accuracy through regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and customer satisfaction.
- Hire, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance management.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with company safety standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings, and implement solutions to drive operational efficiency.
- Utilise warehouse management systems and other technology to optimise workflow and inventory control.
What We're Looking For:
- Cert IV Frontline Management
- Minimum of 3 years management experience in a Warehouse or food production environment (Background in food manufacturing an advantage) with a proven track record of success
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Highly organised with excellent problem-solving and decision making skills
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (ABM, AMS, MEX preferred)
- Experience in optimising inventory and process improvement
- Experience with P&L and budget management
- Current Forklift licence and Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred
