As a key member of the procurement team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of supply chain.

- Source suppliers and negotiate contracts for goods and services
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Undertake purchasing and distribution of goods and services in accordance with supply policies and procedures
- Coordinate the disposal process including the coordination and control of all warehouse assets and equipment
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with the annual stocktake
- Arrange for servicing and maintenance of equipment and plant
- Expediate purchase orders for stock items and direct supply, ensuring the end user is notified of the delivery and availability dates
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement role
- Current “LF” Class Forklift Operators licence
- Demonstrated experience with computerised supply systems in relation to procurement, contract and materials management
- Demonstrated experience with warehouse management responsibilities relating to materials management
- Experience with Oracle would be highly desirable.
