Due to continued growth, we are seeking an exceptionally well organised, proactive and efficient Warehouse Officer to join our Warehouse team.
Responsibilities:
- Promptly attend to enquiries/communication received via phone and email for the Warehouse department and escalate as required.
- Provide general administration support such as data entry, filing and document generation.
- Picking and Packing, Stock reconciliation.
- Assist in ensuring effective and regular cycle counts are done to establish inventory creditability.
- Assist in monitoring and following up urgent/late deliveries.
- Generate consignment notes and labels as required.
- Transport booking
- Effective order allocation to ensure each team member has a balanced workload.
- Ensure accurate and timely record keeping for the Warehouse and Despatch operations.
- Ensure appropriate Quality Assurance records are complete, up to date and available.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills/experience:
- Previous warehouse experience with a proven ability to understand, meet and exceed customer expectations
- High Reach Forklift License is a must.
- Ability to learn quickly on the job (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic with confident, friendly personality
- Exceptional communication skills (written/verbal), listening skills and telephone manner
- Strong computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Fast, accurate typing and high attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers and to manage expectations
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
- Understanding OHS.
