Warehouse Supervisor

Join an industry leader in industrial and event hire, located in the Eastern Perth suburbs.  We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor - Structure to join our warehouse team on a full-time basis.

The Role: 

The successful applicant will work closely with our other Warehouse Supervisor to ensure all marque structure orders are processed in line with all company and customer requirements while maintaining appropriate safety standards.                                                                                   

This is a hands-on role that includes: 

• Ensuring all staff act in a safe and responsible manner. 
• Picking of structural steel products and hardware.  
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Ensuring staff pick orders in full and on time.
• Undertaking stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Confirming all returned goods are inspected and put-away accurately.   
• Ensuring housekeeping is maintained to an appropriate standard. 
• Maintaining a safe working environment.

The Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

• Warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Current forklift license.
• Experienced in receiving, transfer, and stock management. 
• Experienced with both forklifts and reach trucks would be an advantage.
• Ability to multitask and follow clear verbal instructions.

Criteria:

• Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role
• High Risk Forklift Licence
• Counter-balance & High Reach experience.
• Ability to pass a medical 
• National Police Clearance
• HR license an advantage

Please note, due to the nature of our business we pick and load various types of products including long lengths, non-standard loads and packages as well as pallets and stillages.

Schedule & Salary:

• Full Time position
• Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work during busy periods
• 8 – 10 hour shifts, starting between 6am – 10 am daily
• Offering a competitive salary based on experience.
