An amazing opportunity to join a leading equipment distribution company who supply to mining and construction industries throughout Australia. They are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their growing team.
The Role:
We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day to day running of the warehouse including management of warehouse staff, OHS, stock control and any other warehouse related tasks.
Working Monday – Friday, 40hrs per week, this is a permanent position and your duties will include the following:
- Plan and schedule daily warehouse operational activities
- Coordinate storeman to ensure effective loading of product, safe storage and accurate dispatch of orders
- Identify and implement any process improvements
- Mentor warehouse staff, provide feedback and staff appraisals
- Coordinate and direct tasks and activities with warehouse team members
- Liaise with Logistics Manager, truck/vehicle operators, delivery drivers and customers
- Comply and adhere to all company OHS, policies and procedures
Essential Criteria:
- Valid WA Forklift Ticket
- Current WA C Class Drivers Licence
- Previous experience working in warehousing
- Thorough understanding of OHS and Safe Working Practices
- Thorough understanding of chain of responsibility
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Can work as part of a team but also autonomously
