The Company
SecondBite is one of Australia’s largest free food rescue organisations. We rescue quality fresh nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste and distribute it to charities and people in need.

The Position
Reporting directly to the State Manager, you are a versatile individual who enjoys being active while you manage being responsible for the: organisation, planning and supervision of the warehouse and driver operations in our Belmont Warehouse.

You can salary package up to a maximum of $18,550 of your salary per year for both living expenses ($15,900 - mortgage, rent, groceries, house bills) and meals and accommodation ($2,650 - dinning out and holidays) resulting in more money in your pocket each fortnight!
 

Responsibilities:

• Manage day to day activities in the warehouse to ensure food is collected, delivered and sorted in a timely manner
• Ensure warehouse and driving operations are performed in a safe manner at all times
• Ensure daily recording of statistics for donations and collections
• Train new warehouse assistants and drivers
   

Key Qualifications & Requirements: 

• Previous experience in a Warehouse supervision role (mandatory)
• Current unrestricted driver’s license (mandatory)
• Forklift licence (mandatory)
• Minimum of a MR licence 
  - Must be willing to upskill to a HR Licence upon employment
• Basic data entry skills
• Great communication, customer service and relationship building skills.
