Warehouse Supervisor

We are expanding our operations to include the recycling and repurposing of lithium-ion batteries with our new facility in Heatherbrae, NSW. When completed, it will be the first of its kind in Australia, capable of processing 1000 tonnes of waste batteries per year.
We are building a team of engineers, technicians, and skilled workers to ensure smooth and safe operation of our battery recycling plant.
As the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. You will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, processing, and dispatch of materials, while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a commitment to efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an efficient warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and facilitate efficient operations.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound dispatch activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate day-to-day operations, including collection, sorting, processing, and shipping of materials.
- Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
- Review and recommend operational process improvements to drive productivity.
- Ensure processing administration and reporting are completed within established guidelines.
- Track and ensure accurate data capture of all materials received, processed, and dispatched.
- Collaborate closely with the Site Manager to ensure efficient site operations and meet key performance indicators.
- Perform regular equipment checks and maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
- Supervise warehouse organization and maintenance to maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Assist in designing and optimizing warehouse layouts for maximum efficiency.
What you will bring to the role:
- Minimum of 2 years in bound & out bound Dispatching experience.
- Relevant experience within the manufacturing, resources/mining, or recycling industries
- Must have a forklift licence and experience utilising forklift.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage your time well, prioritise work, and structure work efficiently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to analyse and interpret safety information, and data and report/present on those trends identified.
- Adaptable and positive approach to meet the needs of the projects and business.
- Cert III or Cert IV in Warehouse Operations/ Management (Desirable)
