ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a reputable and successful Australian-owned family company, who is rapidly growing and now seeking a dedicated Warehouse Team Leader to play an important role in helping to grow their business.

Joining as the Warehouse Team Leader, means diving into a hands-on role where you own the show, handling everything from inwards to outwards goods. Your general day-to-day will look like:

• Opening and closing of the warehouse daily.
• Supervising warehouse and delivery staff.
• Communicating regularly with sales and procurement teams.
• Overseeing dispatch activities and assisting the storeman with picking.
• Checking off inwards goods and maintaining stock locations. 
• Liaising with freight forwarders and couriers.
• Operating forklifts, packaging machinery, and heavy vehicles as required.
• Ensuring general housekeeping of warehouse and yard.

ABOUT YOU

• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Possess fundamental technology skills (IT literate).
• A can-do attitude, a go-getter and with the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
• Ability to work within budgets, meet KPIs, and provide regular reports.
• Focus on WHS with adherence to quality control and safety procedures.
• Physically fit for manual handling and lifting tasks.
• Forklift and Medium Rigid Licence (or willing to obtain).

Desirable:

• Previous experience in warehousing.
• Previous experience in a team lead / management role.
