The Role
SURTECO is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Dandenong. The role will see you work within a supportive team, within a warehouse environment. We are looking for permanent staff to work 38 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of Warehouse Team Leader
- Support warehouse supervisor to ensure all DG stock and material is stored and staged according to classifications and regulations.
- Train, coordinate the daily activities on the warehouse.
- Serve customers at the counter sales desk.
- Ensure regular safety inspections being completed in the warehouse.
- Picking, packing, and unpacking of stock.
- Booking in freight
- Holding tool box talks
- Process stock transport orders and supplier orders.
The Individual
- Customer service experience
- LO & LF license required
- Previous experience operating a forklift and wave picker
- Previous warehouse experience
- Undertakes duties with a workmanship like manner
- Knowledge of quality control
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Positive, can-do attitude and willing to support all members of the team
- Self-starter and excellent communication skills
- A team player and can work autonomously
