The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Warehouse Team Lead in our Supply Chain function in Parkville. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this full-time permanent role will help manage incoming and outgoing warehouse activities for the Parkville site, including raw materials receipt, processing, order deliveries on site for internal and external customers, and transfer of manufactured goods from Parkville to the Australian 3PL and export logistics providers.
The Role
Oversee the daily management of the Warehouse main store and finished product store in raw materials supply, inventory management and deliveries to stakeholders across the site.
Manage the transfer of drug product bulk formulations, finished goods, samples and other ad hoc deliveries from the Parkville manufacturing areas to the Australian 3PL and export logistics providers.
Support and lead all workplace HS&E and Quality Warehouse activities including developing risk management strategies to mitigate safety risks and lead investigations.
Manage a small team of Warehouse operators ensuring HR, compliance and competency training is undertaken following company policies. This includes performance management and development planning is undertaken.
Experience
Relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain, warehouse and logistics or a technical field preferred.
Minimum 3 years' experience in Supply Chain Management, Pharmaceutical manufacturing, or related field.
Broad industry background in Warehouse operational activities including inventory control.
Experience with warehouse management systems, SAP experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Cold Chain management, cGMP and cGDP.
Experience in people management and leading a team.
Exposure to Quality Management System (Veeva/Trackwise) and Quality Control System (GLIMS) preferred.
