The Role:
This part-time position requires a suitably qualified warehouse/transport professional, with leadership qualities to assist their team in efficiently and effectively distributing stock to multiple regional stores.
The successful candidate is expected to lead amidst multiple competing priorities, deadlines, and unexpected challenges.
Required skills & attributes:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in logistics/supply chain management, operations/inventory management, demand planning or warehousing is advantageous
- Previous leadership experience in a warehousing/distribution environment is highly regarded
- A "hands-on" leader able to inspire their team through demonstrated ability and capacity to perform all tasks as an active member of the team
- Ability to build strong relationships reinforced by improved process, procedures and communication within the workplace
- Effectively plan, establish and maintain a strong culture of excellence, innovation and continuous safety and quality improvement within the workplace
- Ability to communicate with key stakeholders in the development of performance targets/strategies and ensure engagement
- Availability to be rostered across any 5 days in 7 and the flexibility to work either day or night
- Knowledge of fresh produce or supermarket industries would be desirable
- A current Forklift license

Hourly rate : $36 (operator base rate) & $40 - $44 (leader base rate) + loading + overtime
