We are an Australian privately owned manufacturer and distributor of consumer health and wellness products across the Pharmacy, Allied Health, and Sports markets.
UPI has established a strong market presence within Australia across categories including medical devices and complementary medicines.
We are on the hunt for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to head up our supply chain function. The Warehouse Team Leader will be part of a team driving the safe and timely management of inwards/outwards of UPI goods.
Key components of the role include, but are not limited to:
- To understand best practice warehousing and ensure our facilities are maintained to these standards and compliant to ISO audits.
- Ensure people, process and facilities are maintained to ensure nil incidents and compliance to company OH&S requirements.
- Prioritising deliveries to ensure cartage costs are kept to a minimum whilst ensuring customers receive their orders on time in full.
- Coordinating the daily work requirements for the team.
- Maintaining KPI's for key tasks
- Maintaining the pick and dispatch system to ensure all information is accurate and up to date (Syspro).
- Monitor the packing/dispatch/receiving area orders to meet customer expectations.
- Maintaining picking quantity and quality standards
- Ensuring the dispatch team is maintaining and updating pick and dispatch.
- Supporting customers and their requirements
- General warehouse duties such as, but not limited to, loading/unloading/pallet movements, stock audits, pick/pack, and replenishment.
- Ensuring materials are on site and available as required.
- Ensuring all Quality Assurance and documentation protocols are met.
- Other duties as may be required to support the supply chain team.
As the successful candidate, you will require:
- 3-5+ years’ experience in warehousing/dispatch (ideally in a 3PL / pick and pack environment)
- A passion and ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build great relationships.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to relate to people at all levels with a particular focus on understanding the customer needs.
- Have an eye for detail and the organisational skills to provide top quality service for customers.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with internal and external stakeholders, including co-workers.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
- The ability to implement and comply with the SOPs.
- Forklift license essential.
