Job HighlightsGreat Culture across site & within the Warehouse TeamFull time 2 Year TraineeshipDIDO Local (Mackay) Position Monday to FridayAbout our ClientWorkpac is currently sourcing a Supply Trainee for a client located 150 kilometres south-west of Mackay in the northern Bowen Basin region of central Queensland. The traineeship is for a two-year period and upon successful completion of the program, the candidate will complete a Certificate III in Supply Chain.About the RoleReporting to the Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for providing a cost effective and efficient warehousing and distribution services that supports a sustainable mining operation. Daily activities include material handling, forklift operations, stocktaking, receipting, picking and general end-user support. The role is a full time DIDO position, 9-day fortnight and includes camp accommodation. Additionally, support and training will be provided to ensure the trainees success.About YouYou will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Additionally, you will have an above average year 12 pass in Maths and English. Two yearsexperience within a customer service role and or the mining industry is desirable.
