We’re seeking several reliable Seasonal Warehouse Technicians and Workshop Support team members to join our dynamic team, playing a crucial role in supporting service delivery excellence.
The Opportunity
As a Warehouse & Workshop Support Team member, your primary responsibility will be to support the Photography & Tech Manager and Assets & Logistics Manager. Our Support Team guarantee that our offsite teams receive top-notch, fully functional equipment for their photography, printing, framing, gowning and technical needs. They also keep a well maintained and meticulous highly functioning warehouse fully operational, tidy and prepared for the busy seasonal demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Workshop and Warehouse Support: Stock-take, cleaning and maintaining storage, packing and unpacking freight, picking up and dropping off deliveries, WHS support.
- Cable and Equipment Setup: Efficiently set up photography road cases, ensuring all equipment, cables and components are correctly connected and organised.
- Equipment Testing: Thoroughly test all photography equipment and point-of-sale systems to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for use.
- Equipment and Regalia Inspection: Conduct routine checks for equipment damage and regalia repairs and cleaning needs, promptly attending to repairs or replacements.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, ensuring all items are tracked, labelled, and accounted for.
- Assisting the Technical Manager and Assets & Logistics Manager with other general tasks as required.
Work hours/days:
- During the lead-up to peak season (June - Sept), hours and days will vary from 2-4 days.
- During Oct, Nov and Dec, employees are rostered for peak hours and rostered days may increase to 5-6 days per week.
- Weekend work is required
- Rostered hours between Nov-Dec may include 7.5 hours between 6:30am and 12:00am
Overtime may be required and paid at the prevailing award rates (only applies if required outside rostered periods).
Employment Requirements:
- Drivers License
- Working With Children Check or ability to attain one
- Fork Lift License (desirable, not mandatory)
