McInerney Ford have an exciting new role for a skilled and experienced Warranty Clerk .
The Role:
You will be required to manage all warranty repair orders by accurately compiling, reviewing, submitting, and following up on warranty claims to ensure the dealership is paid for all warranty work.
Duties:
Prepare and submit warranty claims according to manufacturer guidelines and policies
- Prepare and submit prior work approvals and goodwill requests
- Maintenance of the warranty parts store, include tagging, storage and disposal as required.
- Preparation and returning of parts to manufacturers as requested
- Review and report on the status of open warranty repair orders to management
- Reconcile claims submitted and reimbursements received from manufacturers and providing explanations for variances
- Identify and report on warranty audit risks
- Maintain good relationships with the manufacturer warranty department.
Skills and experience:
- Prior franchised dealer warranty experience
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly computer literate - experience with TITAN DMS a distinct advantage
- Ability to take initiative, problem solve and be self sufficient.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work well within a team.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a role of similar scope, preferably within the automotive industry. Attention to detail and pride in your work are paramount to the success of this role, as is the ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a busy working environment.
