About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Waste Projects Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing waste management projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing waste reduction initiatives. The Waste Projects Officer will work closely with various stakeholders to promote sustainable waste management practices and drive positive environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement waste management projects and promotional activities
- Monitor and analyse waste management data for performance optimization
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive waste reduction efforts
- Ensure compliance with waste management regulations and guidelines
- Prepare reports and presentations on project progress and results
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Experience in the management of waste management projects and promotional activities
- Experience working with Federal, State and Local government, community and
school groups, and other stakeholders in the region and beyond.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or related field with the focus on Project Management or equivalent work experience.
- A current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
- A current Working With Children Check
