As a Wastewater Services Operator at TasWater your day will involve working outdoors, in a hands-on role, responsible for maintenance on our 7 wastewater treatment plants and over 70 wastewater pumping stations.
You will learn how to run and monitor wastewater digital systems and treatment processes. You will conduct sample testing and perform preventative and responsive maintenance.
In this you will see the significant impact your work has on the wellbeing of the communities and pristine ecosystems on Tasmania’s West Coast.

Pay and Flexibility Details
This position attracts an hourly rate of $32.44 an hour, upon commencement and until successful completion of probation. After which, the hourly rate increases to $34.25. Participation in occasional on-call, overtime and emergency call-out situations is also available, attracting addition allowances and overtime rates.
This is a permanent (ongoing) full time position with options for a 9-day rostered day off (RDO) fortnight.
