The position supports the operations and future growth and development of AlburyCity through the development and implementation of infrastructure network models and simulations.
This enables the city's informed decision making around strategic infrastructure planning, developments and the phasing of its investments.

Qualifications & experience
- Tertiary qualification recognised by Engineers Australia in an engineering discipline relevant to the role
- Significant experience in the modelling and simulation of infrastructure networks.
- Strong background in process control and/or asset management.
- Familiarity with the Water and wastewater sector or related Engineering disciplines.
- Leading the development and implementation of strategic infrastructure and future servicing models.
- Reviewing AlburyCity's existing simulation and modelling capabilities to ensure best practice approaches for data and network analysis.
- Leading the implementation and development of operational Water and wastewater resource models to inform operational decision making.
- Overseeing the potential acquisition and implementation of optimal modelling and simulation utilities.
- Undertaking flow forecasting for water/recycled Water and Sewerage systems as needed.
Hours
Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
