Our Client is expanding its Newcastle team and seeking a Hydrologist/Water Resources Engineer to contribute to challenging and rewarding projects in urban development, government, resources, infrastructure, and roads spaces.Key Responsibilities:
- Support on flooding and stormwater-related projects nationwide.
- Conduct flood studies, flood risk management, and impact assessments.
- Develop stormwater management plans and water-sensitive urban designs.
- Contribute to geomorphic assessments and waterway rehabilitation designs.
- Execute water balance modeling and report writing.
- Lead team development and project management.
- Engage in client management and business development.
- Degree in Engineering with a focus on Water and Environment.
- 3+ years of experience as a Flood Modeller/Hydrologist/Water Resources Engineer.
- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling packages.
- Technical skills in QGIS/ArcGIS advantageous.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
