Our client is expanding its' team and is seeking a Hydrologist/Water Resources Engineer to contribute to challenging and rewarding projects.

Our Client is expanding its Newcastle team and seeking a Hydrologist/Water Resources Engineer to contribute to challenging and rewarding projects in urban development, government, resources, infrastructure, and roads spaces.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support on flooding and stormwater-related projects nationwide.
• Conduct flood studies, flood risk management, and impact assessments.
• Develop stormwater management plans and water-sensitive urban designs.
• Contribute to geomorphic assessments and waterway rehabilitation designs.
• Execute water balance modeling and report writing.

For Experienced Candidates:

• Lead team development and project management.
• Engage in client management and business development.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering with a focus on Water and Environment.
• 3+ years of experience as a Flood Modeller/Hydrologist/Water Resources Engineer.
• Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling packages.
• Technical skills in QGIS/ArcGIS advantageous.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
