Our Client is expanding its Newcastle team and seeking a Hydrologist/Water Resources Engineer to contribute to challenging and rewarding projects in urban development, government, resources, infrastructure, and roads spaces. Key Responsibilities: Support on flooding and stormwater-related projects nationwide. Conduct flood studies, flood risk management, and impact assessments.
Develop stormwater management plans and water-sensitive urban designs. Contribute to geomorphic assessments and waterway rehabilitation designs. Execute water balance modeling and report writing.
For Experienced Candidates: Lead team development and project management. Engage in client management and business development. Requirements: Degree in Engineering with a focus on Water and Environment.
3 years of experience as a Flood Modeller/Hydrologist/Water Resources Engineer. Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling packages. Technical skills in QGIS/ArcGIS advantageous.
