The Position
You will be responsible for the end-to-end co-ordination of Weddings and Social functions across the Hotel's amazing venues. As Wedding & Social Events Co-Ordinator, it starts with the warm welcome to your client over the phone and in person, building a strong and productive relationship to identify all their needs with detail and liaising with the Operations team in order to deliver on a truly bespoke experience for your client's event!
The Wedding & Social Events Co-Ordinator day to day activities will include:
- Focus on converting, managing and delivering wedding and Social Events
- Building strong relationships with new and existing clients and exceed their expectations with bespoke style of service.
- Overall management of incoming wedding and social enquiries and securing bookings across all F&B spaces.
- Communicate with clients regularly to confirm event details within the appropriate time frames.
- To complete, communicate and distribute the Banquet Event Order which ensures a seamless and successful function.
- Ensure that effective working relationships are maintained with all operating departments.
What we want in you:
To be considered for this position, it is preferred, however not essential that you have previous experience delivering customer service excellence with a solid understanding of Food & Beverage operations in a hotel environment.
As a self-motivated, highly organised and proactive individual you will possess the following:
- At least 2 years experience in hospitality is preferred.
- Experience in events is highly regarded
- A passion for excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Detail orientated.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Strong IT skills
- Tripleseat and Opera knowledge advantageous
- Experience with weddings is a plus
