Our client is looking for a Weekend Chef to join a co-educational school in Australia's alpine adventure playground - Jindabyne!
You will be preparing delicious meals for grateful students, so this is the ideal role for anyone who wants to make a real difference to those they serve each day.
Public transport and onsite parking available.
The Role:
Saturday & Sunday
10am - 6:30pm
$30+ per hour + loadings
You will work with your team to ensure residents’ dietary needs are met with varied and nutritious food.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and presenting bulk food for students
- Stock ordering, rotation, and stock take
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Adhering to food hygiene and safety practices
- Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude
- Working With Children Check (essential)
- Experience working in kitchens and food preparation
- Previous experience in school catering (desirable)
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (advantageous)
