Fabricator/Welder - Automotive Performance
Company Overview: We are a specialised automotive fabrication workshop located in Carrum Downs, dedicated to crafting high-performance solutions for a diverse range of vehicles, from circuit racing cars to road cars, hot rods, and even buses. Our small but skilled team is passionate about delivering top-notch quality, and we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Fabricator/Welder to join our team. Position Overview: As a Fabricator/Welder at our workshop, you will be responsible for fabricating various automotive components, including TIG and MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, roll cage construction, and high-end exhaust fabrication. While you will be working on your own projects, we provide comprehensive training and support to ensure you acquire the skills needed to meet our quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Independently fabricate automotive components, including TIG and MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, roll cage construction, and high-end exhaust systems.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and problem-solve for unique and challenging projects.
- Actively participate in continuous learning and skills development as needed.
- Uphold a standard of excellence in craftsmanship, ensuring high-quality results.
Qualifications:
- Some prior experience in automotive fabrication or a related field.
- Basic understanding of TIG and MIG welding techniques.
- Ability to independently fabricate components and projects with attention to detail.
- Interest in learning and developing skills in various areas of automotive fabrication.
- Enthusiastic about continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small, specialised team environment.
