The GURNER™ Wellness division was born through a deep passion for health and wellness and a profound desire to help people live their most ultimate life. Our luxurious private clubs serve as sanctuaries for both body and mind, inviting members to shed stress, revitalise their energy, forge connections, and ultimately, elevate their wellbeing to unprecedented levels. Our mission is simple yet profound: to cultivate rejuvenation and vitality beyond imaginable.
Our clubs offer community, connection, mindfulness, movement, strength, fitness, recovery, nutrition, and personal care. They combine ancient wisdom and scientific findings to create truly special spaces dedicated to anti-aging, wellness, recovery, and transformation.
Our first club has been an incredible success. We are now in an exciting growth phase, looking for the next team of champions (both FT and PT roles) to shape our brand new South Yarra club, opening in the coming months!

The Position
Our Haven wellness and recovery zones are tranquil places where members can rest and rejuvenate using the latest modalities and treatments. Our haven team members excel at guiding our members through a range of treatments such as cryotherapy, red light therapy, compression boots, oxygen chambers, massage, and more. We’re looking for genuine, grounded, and gentle individuals to take charge in this space, ensuring every member has a rejuvenating experience that leaves them feeling better than when they arrived. This role suits those passionate about health and wellbeing, who excel in delivering exceptional member experiences.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Greeting members and guests on arrival
- Assisting Saint Haven members and guests with bookings, class or treatment check ins, suggestions or facility-based questions
- Creating innovative and interactive ways to increase satisfaction of members and guests
- Assisting with retail including equipment sales
- Researching and understanding the treatment programs that Saint Haven offers
- Working closely with all areas of Saint Haven
- Developing cohesive working relationships with your teammates and peers
- Understanding member preferences and anticipating their needs
- Educating members on the broad array of Saint Haven offerings that we deliver, to inspire them to become even more vital and well
- Working through daily checklists to ensure all areas of the venue are clean and looking to the standard expected
- Upholding the best health and safety practices
Skills and Competencies
To be successful in this role, we require someone with the following skills and competencies:
- You have significant experience in the Health and Fitness or Wellness and Spa industry, including but not limited to experience in a hotel, spa and wellness centre and/or a gym.
- You are member obsessed! You know what it takes to make someone feel special – you understand that customer service extends beyond answering questions. You seek to curate experiences and anticipate needs.
- You have a willingness to learn and stay up to date with the latest in health and wellbeing trends and Saint Haven offerings.
- You are people focused - you are genuine, honest and operate with integrity. You thrive on watching your team succeed and develop their skills and experience.
- You are self-assured, patient, listen intently, speak clearly and eloquently, and are comfortable communicating at all levels.
- You are driven, perceptive, ask questions and always strive to understand the bigger picture.
- You must be available to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

The Casting Calls
We are looking for humble, wholesome individuals with a genuine interest in holistic health and wellbeing, who are committed to delivering excellence in everything they do. Our team members inspire wellness by being role models and passionate advocates for all we offer and stand for. We seek people who love meaningful connections and take joy in making others feel cared for and important.
On the 22nd and 23rd of June, we are hosting our incredible Casting Call days. This event will allow us to meet the wonderful, engaging, and passionate people who will become our new club champions. Over two days, we’ll have the chance to connect with express ‘Meet & Greets’ on Saturday and ‘Group Workshops’ on Sunday. We are excited to meet you at one (or two) these sessions!
