ABOUT US

Qube Energy is an established provider of integrated logistics services to both the onshore & off shore oil and gas sectors. Our services include Supply Base and transport operations. We are ideally suited to provide comprehensive support to the Oil and Gas industry with supply bases strategically positioned in Darwin, Dampier, Fremantle, Bunbury, Melbourne, Portland, Bell Bay and Barry Beach.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the National Operations and Contract Manager, the Supply Base Manager – WA & NT will manage the warehousing, materials management and logistics functions within select key contracts across the Western Australia and Northern Territory Operations. The role will lead and direct the strategic vision for supply base operations and manage in a way to deliver optimised and continually improving operations, customer satisfaction, and growth.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Manage the warehouse, material management and logistics functions through strategy, resource optimisation, profitability maximisation, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), resulting in the maximisation of customer satisfaction.
  • Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to aid decision making for the Business/Operation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adequate resources and manage demand forecasts
  • Lead the development and implementation of improvement strategies to streamline system processes in warehouse operations
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the Warehouse and Supply teams
  • Analyse State and site results to develop and implement business plans to ensure profitable growth and development opportunities.
  • Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to aid decision making for the Business/Operation.
  • Manage the compliance of all customer, quality assurance, documentation and procedural requirements
  • Identify all business risks and develop appropriate management strategies to minimize exposure.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Industrial Relations Agreements, WHS and Environmental legislation and company policies.
  • Manage the Performance Management process for operational staff, specifically mentoring site managers on best practice performance management techniques.

About you

The successful individual will have the following:

  • Degree qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics Management or similar
  • Experienced in managing supply chain operations in the energy or major construction industry environment.
  • Project Management and Change Management experienced.
  • Competent in leading business improvements strategies.
  • Demonstrable experience in Materials planning and forecasting, Inventory analytics and material lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience working with Supply chain systems, MRP, ERP preferably with SAP
  • Strong management skills with hands-on experience in leading and mentoring team members to deliver positive outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
