Epigroup is on the lookout for 2 x WHS Advisors who wants to make a real impact in our workplace health and safety projects in far North Queensland. If you're not afraid to challenge the status quo, and you love going to where you're needed to facilitate and lead change, this is the job for you.
We are seeking 2 seasoned Safety Advisors specialised in high-risk civil and infrastructure construction and infrastructure reparation projects. The business encompasses road, open spaces, water mains, wastewater, and civil along with historical mains water infrastructure. The area that is being covered in the repair works is roughly Oak Beach to Cape Tribulation. We are looking to source Advisors from Cairns, Port Douglas, Mossman, Daintree area. Accommodation can be provided.
Site: Far North QLD – In disaster mode after cyclone jasper – repair work road, civil
Roster: Mon-Fri– 6.30AM-3.30PM
Duration of support: To start immediately for 3 months then option to extend up to 12 months

To be considered for the role, you must have:
- Relevant experience in safety critical industries as a health and safety professional (3+ years), with critical risk management considered a big plus
- Excellent engagement skills with clients - whether they be frontline workers or executives
- Interpersonal skills of the highest calibre
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to lead projects independently with the support of a fantastic team
- Cert 4 OHS as a minimum
- Experience in high-risk civil and infrastructure construction and infrastructure reparation projects
