Working autonomously in this stand-alone role, but with valuable support from a broader national and global team, your key objective will to be partner effectively with operational management and staff at all levels to further develop and build upon WHS systems and programs. Further, you will facilitate ownership of WHS issues and effective WHS leadership and engagement at all levels. You will do this whilst influencing, mentoring and providing hands on support across multifaceted teams.
With relevant qualifications, you must be able to demonstrate a proven record of success ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment, although this is not essential. What is essential, is the energy, drive and resilience to implement practical WHS solutions that have practical, positive business related outcomes and facilitate continuous improvement. Your ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, influence and build credible relationships at all levels of the business will be critical to your success.
