The Role
As a Guest and Employee WH&S Manager, you will have an array of responsibilities and accountability including:
- Management of WH&S including: workplace inspections, monthly health and safety meetings and overseeing incident reporting.
- Injury Management & Work Cover: maintaining the register of accidents and injuries, overseeing the management of WorkCover and Return to Work programs.
- Leadership: providing support and direction to team members, sharing business updates, and providing regular feedback.
- Training & Development: administering regular training programs, coaching department managers regarding safework practices.
- Utilising systems such as Beakon to update policies.
- Ensuring all compliance is in alliance with current legislation and standards.
Your Profile
- Tertiary qualifications in WH&S and risk management
- 3 years+ experience gained within a similar WH&S position.
- Previous experience managing WorkCover, return to work, and risk management functions in a dynamic and customer-centric organisation.
- Previous experience in managing and leading teams
- Ability to use own initiative and to escalate risks and issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent computer and literacy skills.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
