Bid Manager

THE CLIENT

I am currently working with an ASX listed company that have been in market for 60 years. They offer Infrastructure Solutions into a variety of Industries including - Government, Education, Mining, Healthcare, Aged Care, and Construction. 

They have become a market leader in their field and off the back of strong performance over the past few years were they experienced 20% YoY growth, they are currently looking for a Bid Manager to join the team in a newly created position.

With support from a Sales Admin reporting into you and working closely Estimator and wider sales team, you will work on $3M - $30M+ projects to drive revenue.

THE ROLE

• Have the autonomy to manage the entire bid process from start to finish
• Strong brand presence where tenders come through directly to the business
• Salary: $140,000 Base + Super
• Work with internal stakeholders of the business including Estimators and wider management to ensure all information is accurate and the tenders are of quality
• Contribute to the process where all improvement ideas are welcomed
• Work on projects that range from $3M - $30M+
• Flexibility to Work From Home / WFH
• Job security with a well-funded market leader in the space
• Working on up to 5 projects at any given time
• Diversity of projects through a variety of industries including Government, Education, Commercial and Health

THE CANDIDATE

• Must have experience working on tenders within the construction space or for a construction company
• Strong attention to detail 
• Communication skills - both verbal and written to be able to deal with both internal and external stakeholders 
• Be able to present information in a clear and professional way
• Have the ability to grasp complex information from a numerical standpoint
• Want to join a growing company and progress through the business as they continue to expand
• Be comfortable working on multiple projects at any given time 
• Owned the bid process in previous projects 
• Track record of success
