Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer role will sit within our client's Quality, Assurance and Compliance (DQAC) Team.The Procurement Officer, will form part of a multidisciplinary team and play a key role supporting our client by providing procurement expertise and assisting stakeholders to plan, develop, source, and manage procurement arrangements to effectively meet organisational and business objectives.Client DetailsYou will be part of the dynamic team This team is committed to creating a thriving data-driven culture ensuring workforce data is used to its maximum potential.Description * Understand and act in accordance with probity rules in government procurement projects;

• Without the need for external prompting, seek further tasks and keep supervisors appraised of their workload;
• Bring a proactive attitude and sense of ownership, accountability and pride to tasks they are individually responsible for;
• Work to short and long-term deadlines and readily rearrange priorities at short notice;
• Have an open and collaborative approach to shared tasks with the confidence to give frank feedback to supervisors;
• Strictly adhere to (at times repetitive) file management protocols to guarantee consistency and searchable records;

Profile * Have good written and oral communication skills;

• Have strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to display excellent attention to detail;
• Have demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite
• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Must have a Baseline
