This position will also be the key liaison point for the collaborative partnership with the Strong Women Healthy Country (SWHC) Network, this collaboration aims to support women and address issues they face within the CFC program.
The key duties of the position include
- In partnership with other staff, support women to be active participants in mentoring programs.
- Work in close partnership with the Strong Women Health Country Network as part of the development and delivery of the activities in this program.
- Hold regular (e.g. quarterly) meetings with the NLC Steering Group to seek input and advice on the activities coordinated by the Women's Program Coordinator.
- With guidance from the Steering Group, undertake a review of existing Women's engagement and employment strategies and action plans, and develop and implement a revised Women's Employment and Engagement Strategy that ensures strong governance and cultural protocols that specifically address and support women's issues.
- In collaboration with the Strong Women Healthy Country Network, develop a partnership agreement focusing on governance, cultural protocols, and strategic planning between the NLC and the Network.
- Hold regular meetings to update stakeholders on program activities as required.
- Comply with NLC policy and procedures at both an organisational and operational level, ensuring that appropriate standards and operational protocols are maintained at all times.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks and duties that are required, that are within the scope of your position classification, service area and skill set as required.
- Adhere to the NLC Code of Conduct and work in a manner which is professional, respectful, and collaborative to foster sound working relationships within your immediate team and the broader organisation.

- Report all hazards and incidents to your direct supervisor immediately and complete all incident reporting requirements within the timeframes specified
