The Opportunity
Local Guardians is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking an additional Care Advisor to onboard new clients and support existing clients to use their Home Care Package to its fullest potential. Our model allows the client or their family to take on some administration tasks in order to free up funds to dedicate to care and services delivered in the home. Local Guardians still maintains accountability and oversight of the package, ensuring clients remain independently and safely at home.
Reporting to the General Manager who is based in Melbourne, the Victoria Care Advisor will be core to sustaining current clients and building the business in Victoria.
Responsibilities
- Responding to potential new customers about our product
- Guiding new clients through the onboarding process
- Ongoing support to assigned clients
- Ensure all clients have a care management operating well, including Capital Guardians (financial) activities
- Responding to allowable expenditure queries
- Reviewing partner company care plans and providing feedback
- Keep clients notes up to date
- Manage requests for package level reviews and application for subsidies
- Provide information on complimentary government funded programs
- Ensure communication standards, immediate, direct and compassionate.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Mentor Package Advisors
- Report to management on any client concerns.
- Facilitate the exit of clients
Requirements
- Desire to be involved in a rapidly growing small business.
- Motivated self-starter who is prepared to learn quickly.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Note: Experience in Home Care is beneficial but not required, however, an ability and willingness to quickly learn the industry and Home Care Standards is essential
