The Workforce Delivery Coordinator is a key position responsible for managing the allocation and oversight of ADF recruitment targets on a national level. This role involves sourcing eligible candidates from the talent pool, coordinating their testing phase logistics, and overseeing post-testing administration and result analysis to evaluate suitability for ADF roles.
Additionally, the Coordinator assists in the Coordination of Officer Selection Boards, ensuring the right candidates are selected in a timely manner.

Job Description

Reporting to the Workforce Delivery Team Leader, the Workforce Delivery Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with the Recruitment Operations team to meet targets.

The Workforce Delivery Coordinator provides accurate record keeping and reporting, including appointments and enlistments, to relevant stakeholders across ADF Careers, consistent with the framework established by the Workforce Delivery Lead.

This role requires strong administrative skills, a customer-centric attitude, and effective communication abilities. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional attention to detail, proficiency in data management, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. While an understanding of the Defence/Defence industry is desirable, it is not mandatory.

You will:

  • Coordinate the allocation of targets across the national DFR Recruiting Operations team, in line with the national Workforce Delivery strategy and the requirements of the Services.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Services’ needs, as well as the wider Recruiting Operations goals and priorities, to enable the most effective contribution to recruitment target achievement for ADF Careers
  • Assist in the Coordination of Aviation Screening Programs and Officer Selection Boards for each service, taking the requests from the Board Presidents, and working with the Recruitment Operations team to ensure the board is filled with the right candidates, at the right time.
  • Take direction and guidance from the Workforce Delivery Team Leader, reporting on progress, performance, interactions with the services and any critical, as and when required.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping and reporting, consistent with the framework established by the Workforce Delivery Lead, providing as required and requested to relevant stakeholders across ADF Careers
  • Maintain and provide accurate reports on recruiting target achievement (appointments and enlistments), providing these as required and requested.
  • Provide support to the Recruiting Operations team and stakeholders on recruitment target availability, maximising opportunities and leading with solutions to best enable targets to be filled with the right candidate.
  • Carry out administrative and operational tasks associated with the Workforce Delivery function and coordinator role.
  • Create and maintain a positive relationship with all stakeholders and colleagues, ensuring an exceptional level of service to the client (Commonwealth of Australia) to ensure a collaborative approach to achievement for ADF Careers.
