The Role
Martinus is looking for its next great hire and that could be you! We are looking for a Working Capital Manager who can look after the entire Working Capital cycle managing all incoming & outgoing payments for the group. Reporting to the Corporate GM Finance this role sits within the group treasury function, however, the role works very closely with the operations of the business, especially with the Business Unit finance leads. The role will also work with external customers and suppliers, so great communication skills and a positive attitude are a must.
TheResponsibilities:
- Run weekly cash calls & manage overdue debtors.
- WIP tracker - accrued vs claimed vs billed vs paid.
- Daily cashflow reporting & forecasting.
- 13-week cashflow tracking.
- Negotiate & signoff supplier payment terms.
- SAP approval of outgoing AP payments
- Email approval of outgoing payroll payments
- Maintain retention & Bank Guarantee global registers.
- Bank covenant tracking & reporting.
- DPO, DSO, and aging reporting monthly
Skills and Experience
- Ideally, you will have come from a rapidly growing construction/infrastructure company and understand well the challenges and constraints that growth puts on cash flow and what levers and options can be utilised to extend Working Capital.
- Treasury accountants, credit controllers, and accounts payable managers (Highly Regarded)
- Exceptional Problem-solving abilities
- Intermediate to advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
- Self-motivated approach to work with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work autonomously within a large team environment.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
