How you’ll make a difference
This position liaises with Infrastructure Gold Coast Asset Officers and other key stakeholders regarding planned maintenance and network investigations. Key responsibilities include:
- Create and manage ongoing preventative maintenance programs
- Provide team leadership, and allocate water and sewer works via SAP to internal teams and Contractors.
- Create purchase orders, receipt invoices, SAP job reviews and technical completion
- Ensure works are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, to meet KPI’s, whilst complying with all WH&S and legislative requirements
- Support improvements when working with delivery partners, including implementing and managing contract quality and performance
- Ensure work teams are managed effectively and professionally
- Contribute to workflow management, performance auditing and continuous improvement for the asset management of Water & Waste civil assets.
What you bring to your new role
- C Class Drivers Licence Unrestricted (Mandatory)
- General Construction Induction White Card
- A high-level of customer service and communication skills, a can-do attitude and the ability to think on your feet
- The ability to work well in a team environment and lead a multi-disciplinary team
- Sound physical health in order to satisfactorily perform the physically demanding duties of the position
- Effective numeracy and literacy skills
- Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or Equivalent Knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Document Management system and SAP
