Job Summary: 

We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join our team at Earthmoving Equipment Australia. As the Workshop manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the efficient operation of our workshop, ensuring that all maintenance and repair activities are performed to the highest standards. You will be responsible for managing a team of skilled technicians and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of workshop technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
• Coordinate and prioritize the daily workflow, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to deadlines
• Monitor and manage the repair and maintenance processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure work is carried out to the required standards
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other internal departments to address technical queries and provide updates on repair progress
• Maintain accurate records of all workshop activities, including job cards, service reports, and inventory management
• Assist with recruitment, training, and performance management of workshop staff
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance workshop efficiency and productivity

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Workshop manager or similar role within the earthmoving equipment industry
• Strong technical knowledge of earthmoving machinery and equipment
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Solid understanding of workshop operations, including repair and maintenance processes
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with workshop management software
