Are you prepared to wield real influence within the monumental Western Renewables Link Project (WRL)? This groundbreaking endeavor stands as the largest transmission build in over three decades, a vital conduit poised to channel renewable energy from western Victoria's abundant wind and solar farms to power homes across the state and the National Electricity Market.

As Project Scheduler you will provide undertake delivery program scheduling and controls support in the Project Management Office (PMO).  You will be the linchpin  to develop, integrate, maintain, update, and control the project schedule as per the contract and best practices supporting reporting and governance functions across all project streams.

With a 3/2 Hybrid split Office / WFH , this role is based in Melbourne CBD and is part of the Western Renewables Link project team, Development & Future Networks team. 

This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:

  • Manage project schedule per contract and best practices.
  • Analyze contractor schedules, report delays.
  • Coordinate with project streams and Delivery Partners to manage input, highlight delays.
  • Perform time impact analysis for EOTs, revise baseline plans.
  • Prepare reports, attend meetings, and develop project controls processes.
  • Collaborate with teams, analyze schedule impacts, manage change requests, and consult key stakeholders for project priorities.

You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

  • Solid experience in Project Controls in Infrastructure or Energy (Engineering, Construction and/or Planning and Approval experience a bonus).
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or Quantity Surveying is preferred.
  • A high level of organisational skills and demonstrated effectiveness handling multiple tasks, setting priorities, managing timeframes and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Expert level competency of using scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 (Mandatory), and MS Projects (Mandatory.)
  • Good proficiency in using Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and risk analysis tools is advantageous.
