About the role -

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated teacher to join our school community.As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will:

• Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner-centred, safe, supportive, co-operative and aligned with relevant curriculum, policies and practices
• Collaborate with your peers to develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy

• Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
• Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

About our school: St Mark's Primary School is situated in the western suburbs of Brisbane. It prides itself on the community spirit displayed by students, teachers and parents. Our current enrolment is approximately 500 students.  We encourage students to develop a knowledge of other cultures, languages and environmental and social issues.Do I have to be Catholic?

If this role does not require you to teach Religious Education, you do not need to be Catholic.
Yes, for primary and Religious Education teachers.  Regarding a pathway to become Catholic, some employees opt to undertake the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults).  We support all teachers with Accreditation to Teach pathways after you start with us.
