experienced people to join our expanding team of Youth Workers
(residential) working in our Transitional High Needs Placements in South West region.
The position is in a live-in staff rostered home working within a
therapeutic model of care.

We look for the following attributes:
Available to work a 24/7 rotating roster which may include days, evenings,
sleepovers and weekends.
An understanding of trauma informed therapeutic care to assist in
deescalating and responding to critical incidents with the young person.
Have experience in dealing with children and Young people with 'complex
needs and behaviours' and the ability to therapeutically manage these
behaviours.
Must have prior experience in working with vulnerable children and young
people of various ages from 0 – 18 yrs
Full, clean open Australian driver’s license (specific to the state) and
access to a fully insured car is also an essential requirement
Must have a current ‘paid employment’ Working With Children card for WA
Also have a current 'First Aid' certificate
Statutory Checks will be completed on all new staff as part of our
recruitment process
