Job DescriptionControl of project documentation and data through all phases of the project. Ensures all records are filed and closed out;Provides assistance and advice to managers in the administration of their project deliverables related to operational documentation and data;Control of general and contractual correspondence;Ensures all requests for drawings and other documents from suppliers and clients are processed effectively and efficiently following the embedded processes;Support and maintain other information systems such as the Objective ECM;·Conduct regular audits on systems / processes to maintain reliability;Provide timely advice on information management matters to the Program Manager;Distribute key information to team members;Develops, maintains and reviews Document Control internal policies and procedures.Assists staff in the review and maintenance of procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and WA Government requirements in the area of document control;Compliance with DOT systems and processes (record keeping);Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:5 years relevant experience.Reports directly to the Program Manager.Communicates at all levels using various methods. Flexible and adaptable to change.Attention to detail and have an organised work practice. Essential skills and ExperienceBe computer literate and a have a good working knowledge of project document control software and version control systems;Experience working within a Document Control Department in a project-based engineering environment;Good working knowledge and experience of Project Document Control Systems (DCSs) and Electric Document Management Systems (EDMSs) and processes;Identifies opportunities to continually improve the provision of contemporary document control services;Embraces and adapts to change in the work environment and provides leadership for others in terms of these changes.
