Our client is a well-respected, privately owned, multi-site print and packaging group across NSW. With a proud history and a low turnover of staff, the company offers security and stability, not often found.
The company currently has an interesting and varied position at their main Western Sydney site. The duties include, Estimating, Customer Service, and liaising with external suppliers. The main responsibility is supporting the well-established sales team by providing timely and accurate quotations. You will see yourself as a fundamental part of the sales process and ensure you work collaboratively with the sales team to provide cost-effective and clever solutions to complex projects.
You may also be required to assist with tender preparation, obtaining third-party quotations and some purchasing. A thorough knowledge of digital and offset printing is required. Knowledge of wide-format printing would be advantageous. The successful candidate will also have a sound knowledge of computerised estimating. The ability to prepare impositions would be favourably considered.
You will have the ability to work unsupervised, and under pressure when required to prepare urgent quotations. You will have sound written and communication skills. Proven experience and industry knowledge is essential for this role.
