Valley Homes is a long established and trusted custom design builder working throughout the Newcastle, Port Stephens, Maitland, Cessnock and Lake Macquarie areas specialising in custom designed homes, duplexes and multi unit/house projects for over 50 years.
The Role
You are a highly capable individual who can work autonomously as well as part of the support office team. You have solid experience as a Residential Sales & production estimator and can handle multiple projects at any one time including custom homes, duplexes and multi-unit projects whilst consistently delivering accurate estimating. This role will involve:
- Residential sales & production estimating including multi house / unit projects, dual occupancies and custom homes
- Producing accurate documentation within budgeted timelines
- Resolving ordering oversights and making amendments as required
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company products and services
- Communicating with sales, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, administrators and contractors.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Construction knowledge and a trade background
- 5 years experience with estimating systems and methodology
- Competency with Microsoft Office and BusinessCraft estimating software
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
