We are excited to announce the opening of new SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) and SIL (Supported Independent Living) homes in Queensland. We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Manager to lead the establishment and operation of these homes, ensuring they provide a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment for our residents.
The Role
The Accommodation Manager will be responsible for the overall management of our new SDA/SIL homes, from setup to day-to-day operations. You will ensure that the homes operate smoothly, providing a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the establishment of new SDA/SIL homes, coordinating fitouts, compliance checks, and service setup.
- Manage daily operations, ensuring high-quality care and support for residents.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote independence, dignity, and respect for all residents.
- Build and maintain a team of support staff, providing training and development to ensure the highest levels of care.
- Work closely with residents, families, and other stakeholders to ensure accommodation services meet individual needs and preferences.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure sustainable and high-quality service provision.
- Experience in disability accommodation services management, with knowledge of SDA and SIL frameworks.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team development and empowerment.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
