Downer Defence is the lead contractor providing Estate Maintenance and Operation Services (EMOS) for the Department of Defence in Queensland and Southern New South Wales. As lead contractor within the region we deliver a suite of services to support Defence capability. 

The Role:

We currently have an opportunity for a part-time Accommodation Receptionistto work on a rotating shift.

This position will assist with day to day running of accommodation and room booking functions and requires outstanding Customer Service and an intermediate level of computer skills with high level of data accuracy.

• Maintaining Reservation Booking Systems
• Ensuring room information is up to date in real time
• Relay information to cleaning and housekeeping personnel to ensure all requests are responded too
• Perform the daily accommodation and reception desk services
• Handle customer queries and requests within suitable time frames
• Ensure accurate filing and record keeping are maintained
• Follow safety practices in the workplace

What you’ll bring:

• Certificate II in Business Administration or relevant industry experience in a similar role;
• Experience with a Reservation Management System (desirable);
• Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian Citizenship Mandatory);
• Experience with the Defence Estate Management System (desirable);
• Must hold a current Australian Drivers License;
